I was very new to internet marketing and money making field when I started browsing last year. But now I know a few methods that can bring descent income online without being expert of anything. The best thing behind my methods are you don't need any money to start this. So why can't you give it a try. Nothing to loose, but there are many things to get.
My first 'make money online' method.
Google Adsense.
This is the most simple method that anyone can implement. But there are a few secrets. Though anybody can create an account with google adsense very easily, how to make good money with that? My seven tips.
- Use google adwords toolbar to find out a good paying keyword. Remember to make sure that it is not so competing.
- Create a blog for free with wordpress with the keyword as title. (better than blogger). Visit ezine, hubs or any other article galleries to learn about the keyword and write a genuine article yourself about it and publish it on your blog.
- Update your feeds to pings like pingomatic, autopinger and feedping don't for get to include your feed url too.
- Create a small press release about your website and circulate it through free news distribution websites like press release distribution (also read the submission guidelines before you submit to these websites) your news will be come on top of Google news soon which will result in tons of traffic.
- Use discussion boards and forums to talk about your website and create a few links (both on your signature and on your threads) Contact other members in order to get good advices and visits to your website.
- Write a good article about your website and submit to good article websites like ezine, articlebas, goarticle etc with a link to your blog. (If your website is something related to health, fashion etc. which has more paying keywords - you may also try to be an author at women's healthcare magazine as well.
- You've done the simple things to promote your website. Now wait and see the increasing number of clicks (and $$) per day. Also don't forget to add a few more posts on your blog whenever you feel to write something.

Your conversion rate is awesome!! one of your 6 visitors click on your ads. But your failure is with the keyword selection. 5000 clicks and just 14$ Oh My God.. I'm getting nearly 300$ for 200-300 clicks.
Let me know more about your website's niche and your keywords. Don't go for keywords which are paying very less. Check for the keyword cpcs and put the best ones. If you are unable let me know, I will suggest a few.

Ya google adsense is a good way to get money but the only thing is it is hard to get an approval. Good thing though. Your article was very informing and will help me a lot as i myself am a webmaster. Hope for more such articles from you in the near future.

Thanks for stopping by. But I don't think that its a big task to get approval from adsense. All you need is a good blog and valid address. If this two is ready with you, the approval will happen just with two days. My blog was approved with 36 hours and also all my friends are having approved adsense accounts. They've never faced any issues with adsense.
The problem must be with your blog. Try to make it content relevant and informative. Also do some basic promotions to bring some good traffic. This will definitely help you.

Your tips are really interesting and it also encourages a lot of newcomers to start a venture in blogging and earn extra money. Adsense seems the way forward and a webmaster can earn money by putting a code in his website where adsense adverts appear on your site. They are not that intrusive. Your ideas of promoting your website are very original and I have learned something from them.
Although you make it sounds easy to make money thru google adsense it wasn't so easy for me. I've done the things as you said and in order to get more money from them was to actually have to advertise my blog and pay money out before even seeing a cent in return. But you do have some useful and interesting ways some different some the same as before when I tried it. Maybe I will give your mentions a try once more.

This comment is aimed at Girish but also anyone else who is currently just using AdSense to monetize their websites: add multiple streams of revenue!
For example, you may want to post reviews of products with affiliate links where you will earn a commission, or you may want to use a service like Chitika which earns much more per click than Google AdSense (it can be used with AdSense at the same time, too).
And of course, keep building links and working on your traffic... :)

Adsense is a great way to make money if you can drive massive traffic to your work.Choosing high paying keywords is the way to go but many publishers turn off the content network or lower their bids to a tenth of what they would pay if bidding on search.You are obviously doing something right though, as I arrived here while doing keyword research and your hub came up on top for best way to make money online in position #5 on google with a couple of thousand searches a month and "179,000" optimized results! I've got more than 30,000 clicks on my blog and out of that...only 5000 have clicked ads...i've been able to make just about 14 dollars with that...nything u'd like say which might help?
